I check this forum all the time, when I am at my computer it can be as frequent as every 20 mins. Often there are no new posts to read, this makes me 
Having been speaking to various other regular forum lurkers quite a few of us seem to be in a similar position of wanting to read something but not wishing to contribute anything or not having anything to contribute.
So, to break the cycle of check - check - check - nothing. I am going out on a limb and am going to post something.
I am sure some of you have seen this video:

The first time I saw it I assumed marketing stunt for a viral video, obviously not real. But it is making an appearance at the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival which suggests to me that they actually did it, something I find hard to believe when watching the video.
Any thoughts on the subject?

Its pretty cool. He seems to have done a lot of maths and stuff, but surly one slight change in his body shape in the air will have changed the air resistence, and sent him off course / increased / decreased air speed making all the maths pretty pointless?

i was just about to post the same thing though with a youtube link, they showed it on tv on friday (rude tube c4)
i guess the one on the shaff website had to be removed as microsoft didn't see the funny side of copyright and the whole point of viral videos

O while I'm on the forum making lots of different messages so you have some thing new (i didn't say it was going to be good) to read Phil every time you refresh how was today??
i managed to negotiate a bonus for just going to work today based on my excellent whining skill that i had people over to stay and it was such a hassle to go  but at least she didn't phone at like 5am so only had to work 30mins after arriving before the breakfast break 
uum 2 breakfast and the 2nd one involving cake

you just need the help of an older sister to climb out the window....?
...when my sister and I where quite small we thought it would be a good idea to lower me out of the 1st floor window down to into the back garden (possibly in practice for escaping a fire?). we had a nylon rope tied to my school belt. but had borrowed one of my dads proper climbing rope out of the cupboard as a back up (how was this going to help??????)
half way out of the window the belt snapped but i manage to hold on to the window sill and my sister managed to pull me back through the window. where we decided not to tell our mum about this

that second video is awful dunk!! and me thinks the first is fake, they are all actors. you can do better than that!!!
and I could use the door to escape the house, but it's not so much the means that is the problem...
i just wanna quit uni and run away
